Jade Plants are quite popular among the gardening fraternity due to its easy to maintain-easy to thrive nature. The plant is native to Eastern cape provinces of South Africa but now can be found all across Asia as well. Jade Plant looks more stunning in the form of Bonsai and hence known as Jade Bonsai. The plant produces small white flowers during autumn, but only when the tree has experienced drought. The bark is green and soft when young and turns to red brown when it ages. Jade is classified as succulents and the thick, glossy, deep green oval shaped leaves gives them a charismatic look.

    • Jade can grow well in moderately filtered bright light.
    • Soil should be well drained and fertile
    • Don't make the soil to soggy as they thrive best in moderate moisture.
    • Change the pot every year. Use bigger sized pot every time you repot the plant.
    • Jades prefers pleasant temperatures. Minimum temperature requirements are 25 degrees Celsius.
